We manufacture bespoke contract furniture and reupholster in situ for restaurants, hotels, pubs, healthcare and homes. Built by hand in Norfolk. Delivered and installed across the UK. Our story ## Founded to solve a specific hospitality problem. Red Kite Furniture was founded in 2007 by Shane Ison to give hospitality operators a genuine alternative to imported contract furniture and slow, disruptive off-site reupholstery. Around 90% of what we now make is for restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars and healthcare. The remaining 10% is domestic sofas, chairs, headboards and bespoke commissions built to the same standard. We specialise in three things: contract manufacture to Crib 5, fixed banquette and booth seating designed to the millimetre, and on-site reupholstery that keeps your venue trading while we work. Every frame, every stitch and every finish is produced by our own team in Norwich, never sub-contracted overseas. We work directly with venue owners and alongside interior designers, architects and fit-out contractors, from a single reupholstered booth to a full multi-site rollout.
